Anti-Racism Data Legislation Community Consultation
Community Engagement Final Report Submitted
The Grenadian Cultural Association of BC would like to thank the members of the community who attended and participated in the Anti-Racism Data Legislation community consultation engagement session held in January 2022.
A special thank you to our keynote speaker, the Honourable Justice Selwyn Romilly.
The Grenadian Cultural Association of BC is pleased to report that we have submitted the final report where participants shared their feedback on:
- how they prefer to identify or represent themselves;
- their experiences sharing personal information with BC government agencies; and
- how they would like their data to be used so that the province can work towards racial equity.
We are grateful for the community’s participation and their commitment to continuing these important conversations. Further updates will be available through our website: https://gcabc.org/
